    George Mason University has begun to coordinate its relief efforts in response to the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The 9.0 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami, which occurred March 11, has left thousands of victims dead, injured or homeless.

    The men’s basketball season came to a close last Sunday night in Cleveland, Ohio after a 98-66 loss to Ohio State University in the third round of the NCAA tournament. The loss brought an end to an unexpectedly successful season for the Patriots.

    Redshirt freshman Vertrail Vaughns has been through a lot of hardships in his young life. When he was 13 years old, Vaughns was chased by a Rottweiler. In his escape, he attempted to jump on a car to elude the dog and smashed through the car’s windshield, badly injuring his face.
